Fort Wayne Wash & Fold(“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Klearpath Systems LLC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to provide pickup-and-delivery laundry service:

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, password (stored hashed).
  • Pickup & delivery details: service address, gate codes or special instructions you provide, pickup/delivery dates and time slots.
  • Order information: bag count, weight after processing, garment notes, staff notes, order status history.
  • Payment information: we use Stripe to process payments. We do not store full card numbers on our servers — Stripe holds them. We retain a Stripe customer ID and the last four digits of saved cards for receipts and re-billing of overages.
  • Communications: emails and text messages you exchange with us, plus a record of automated messages we send you about your orders.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To accept, schedule, and complete your laundry orders.
  • To send order status updates (e.g., “your laundry is ready”) by email or SMS, if you have opted in.
  • To process payments, including charging the difference if your actual weight exceeds the estimate.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To detect fraud, debug problems, and meet legal obligations.

3. SMS Messaging

We use SMS to send order-status updates (e.g., “your pickup is scheduled,” “we picked up your laundry,” “your laundry is ready,” “delivered”). SMS messaging is strictly opt-in. You consent during account signup by checking the “I agree to receive SMS notifications” box. We record the timestamp and IP address of your consent.

  • Frequency: approximately 3-6 messages per order.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages themselves; your wireless carrier may.
  • Opt-out: reply STOP to any message at any time. We process opt-outs immediately and confirm with one final message.
  • Help: reply HELP for support or contact us at hello@fortwaynewashandfold.com.
  • No marketing: we do not use SMS for advertising or promotions.
  • No selling, sharing, or transfer of phone numbers: we will never sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile number or SMS opt-in status to any third party for their marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction applies to all parties, including affiliates.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers who help us operate the business — payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Amazon SES), SMS delivery (Twilio), cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services). They may only use your information to provide their services to us.
  • Legal compliance — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfer — if we are acquired or merged, your information may transfer as part of that transaction (you would be notified).

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties for any purpose other than message delivery.

5. Data Retention

We keep account and order records as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle disputes, tax records, and legal obligations (typically 7 years for financial records). You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@fortwaynewashandfold.com; we will delete records that are not legally required to retain.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, role-based access controls, and audit logs. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

7. Your Choices

  • Access & correction: log in to your account at app.fortwaynewashandfold.com to view or update your information.
  • SMS: reply STOP to opt out, or toggle SMS off in your account settings.
  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any non-transactional email. Order-related emails are required to provide service.
  • Deletion: email hello@fortwaynewashandfold.com from your account email to request deletion.

8. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

9. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
